Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2 bounded onto the scene with aplomb – we applauded its 18:9 aspect ratio screen and stunning bezel-free design. Safe to say we’re looking forward to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, the next instalment from Xiaomi. We’re not expecting to see it for a few months yet, but we’ve collated all the rumours regarding the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3’s release date, price, specs, features and more.
Here’s what we know so far. We’ll be updating this page as and when more information becomes available, so be sure to check back in to see what’s in store for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 release date and price
The original Mi Mix from Xiaomi was announced in December 2016, with its successor appearing in October 2017. Going on this pattern of releases, we wouldn’t expect the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 to emerge until at least October of this year. A while yet, but then again, you know what they say about good things…
Unfortunately, when the Mi Mix 3 does arrive, you won’t be able to buy it directly from Xiaomi in the UK, although several retailers such as GearBest and Geekbuying will be able to import one for you should you be so inclined.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 design
We’ve had our first insight into what the rear of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 may look like, thanks to Concept Leaks. The leaked image reveals a sleek black panel with space for a vertical dual rear camera and a central fingerprint scanner.
The corners on the leaked handset are notably more rounded than Xiaomi’s antecedents, though its reveals shouldn’t be taken as gospel; the rear panel could likely be one of many prototypes.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 features
Leaks regarding the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3’s features haven’t exactly been abounding so far, so instead we’re going to go on what we’d like to see its new flagship.
