A monitor can be used with a PC, laptop, MacBook, smartphone or games console – and sometimes, depending on the number of ports, potentially with all those sources connected at once. No matter how and for what purpose you use your monitor, a good one can make all the difference.

Our favourite deal of the day
Amazon knocks £100 off our favourite HDR gaming monitor
We reviewed the C27HG70 in August 2017 at £600. At the time, it was the world’s first 144Hz HDR gaming monitor. Since many other HDR (or should we say, fake HDR) monitors have come to market; yet, none of them match the same level of colour accuracy, gaming response or HDR capabilities of the CHG70. It’s still our favourite go-to gaming HDR monitor and now at £400, it’s an even more tempting proposition.
