So… What's the problem with playing games on Wii U again? Coming from a Nintendo fan, I will tell you in a heartbeat that the Wii U is a commercial failure compared to any other system besides the knockoffs and the ilk of the Virtual Boy. But moving to insult people because they play on Nintendo systems? And removing their comments? All you're doing is antagonizing people. Let us play on our system and we'll let you play on yours.

My original complaint about PS4 controllers still stands to date. I'll admit some PS4 games like EA Sports NHL Hockey 2015 and now 2016 require more action on the analog sticks. And no I'm not mashing buttons. There are website complaint reports around several sites including the Official PlayStation website/PSN about PS4 controllers. BestBuy receives hundreds of complaints about PS4 controllers under customer warranties. The new Xbox One ("Elite Console") which retails in stores November 3rd, 2015 comes with an Xbox One Elite Controller made of aircraft aluminum said to be virtually unbreakable. Read the reviews for yourself. Personally; I'd like to see PS4 come out with a similar Elite controller. I would make the investment given all the worn down PS4 controllers if used.

it wasn't 'taken away' according to Sony — it just wasn't a priority, but media streaming will likely be added down the road. I was never a fan of PS3 streaming ability anyway, plus having a HTPC it really doesn't matter to me. Also, it's your own fault for buying a system that's so new without many games for it yet. Obviously, the games are what give the system value… should have been a no-brainer that you'd be waiting a while for some truly great exclusives, like JRPGs, etc. Also, the console costs $400. How you spent $600 on just the system box is your own problem to figure out. Me, I'm being smart (smarter than you) and waiting for some good games that will make the system valuable to me.

Nintendo? Lol what a joke. Yep it's 2015 and I've been enjoying lots of games. I can undestand PC elitests trying to troll here but from a Nintendo fanboy? Nope. You and your console are completely and utterly irrelevant. I'd rather jump back on my PS3 than play on a WiiU lol Splatoon, Super Samsh Bros., Mario Kart and Bayonetta? Lol that's the best you have? I'll leave the kiddie games for the "wiibos". Nuking the competition? How many consoles did Nintendo sell? Yeah that's what I thought lol you need to sell more consoles than 20 million if you want to "Nuke" the competition lol and yes those numbers are substantiated.

  5. Audrey Jast says:

lol keep playing on your kiddie console. You're just mad that no one wants to play on that p.o.s. Go ahead, I named four big games on your WiiU. They all stink. Man I feel sorry for you. All you have is crappy console and you want to make it shiny. The fact that you brought politics into this tells me that you're probably some blind libertarian fool.

  6. Forrest Heaney says:

"If you've played on a PC that costs two or three times what a PS4 goes for, you've seen as good, if not slightly better." This statement is laughable. I'm not arguing that pc gaming is cheaper than consoles, but you don't have to spend near twice as much to get slightly better performance. Digital foundry and gamespot have both proven that multiplatform games look and play better on the low end 750ti and amd 260x than the ps4. These are low end cards, $130 or less, the 750ti doesn't even need a 6 pin power cable, it can be powered by the pci express alone. You can turn your cheap hp tower into a ps4 beating gaming machine. You can spend twice or three times as much on a pc, but you'll be getting a dramatically better gaming experience in that case. Higher resolutions, higher framerate, multiple monitors or just plain old better image quality.

  7. Frankie Gerlach says:

backwards compat (esp. to ps3) would require more time and resources and most likely built-in ps3 hardware (not sure if emulation, even w/ ps4 hardware, could handle ps3 games well), resulting in a higher retail price for the PS4. Pretty sure they saw few advantages to adding backwards compatibility, especially considering how many ppl still have their PS3 and even PS2 to play the older games on, should they wish.

  8. Fay Bruen says:

Fewer exclusives than X1? on what planet? definitely not this one.

  9. Lyda Yundt says:

i had the same controller sine the day the PS4 was released and I never had a prob. Dude you must mash buttons like a nut….my ps# controllers are still in amazing condition too

  10. Prof. Ottilie Rogahn says:

i will probably get a solid state drive when i get the ps4

  11. Viola Sawayn says:

Why would I read the comments? They're filled with more WiiU fanboys like yourself that troll old articles about how the PS4 and XBONE are b***ch slapping the WiiU. How about instead of searching the internet on why your console is failing, and then reading the comments like the rest of the WiiU users, just play your kiddie games lol Wonder why no one from Sony is commenting on here? Because everyone is enjoying their consoles lol Honestly the only reason why I commented back from this old outdated article was because you dug it up from the grave. I'll sum it up for you since you can't take the time to read. No one likes your console and the figures show. Everyone graduated from Mario graphics a loooong time ago. Except when your feeling nostalgic which comes a few times a year….

  12. Keegan Stoltenberg III says:

    Downgrade masked as an upgrade.

  13. Mr. Isom Cartwright DDS says:

I'm kinda disappointed with the new consoles……still not a lot of games really

  14. Hal Walter says:

^most informative and mature post on the internets^

  15. Lenny Kuhn says:

My biggest issue with the PS4 is not the console itself but the PS4 controller. When new it works fine but if your a serious gamer, soon after a few short weeks of play all the buttons start to break down in functionality, whether sticky trigger buttons or the worst being the main L & R analog sticks. I buy my PS4 controllers at Best Buy; and I swear the so called new controllers are actually refurbished and branded as new. This is damned irritating. In my experience having purchase 13 controllers to date the black colored controllers works best over the long run.

  16. Hershel Sauer says:

Sorry for being a bit late- but consider buying the Wii U from Nintendo. It has many family- friendly games your grandsons will enjoy and I have been 100% satisfied with my unit.

Games your sons may enjoy include:

Splatoon ($60): A shooter where the objective is to cover ground with ink

Mario Kart 8 ($60): A racing game where you drive cars around tracks using characters from the Mario Kart universe. A $12 Downloadable content bundle adds 16 new tracks, 6 new racers, and many new car parts.

Super Mario Maker ($50-$60): A game where you can create and play Mario courses

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker ($40): A cute puzzle game starring the intrepid Captain Toad as he makes his way through small levels collecting stars

You can find deals on these games on Amazon.com, they will usually be anywhere from $5 to $20 dollars off (if you're lucky). Wii U costs $250 for the base model (in white) and $300 for the deluxe model (in black). The deluxe bundle includes these added goodies:

A charging stand for the GamePad controller
    A GamePad stand (non- charging)
A stand for the console if you want it to stand upright

In addition, you can find console bundles that come with a game included for $300. The $250 basic Wii U comes with Nintendo Land included, a small party game that is meant to show off the capabilities of Wii U.

I hope I have managed to be of some help!

  17. Claude Donnelly says:

their answer is Playstation Now. they prob won't ever allow backwards compatibility… there's too much difference in hardware where the game would pretty much have to be rebuilt.

  18. Miss Melyna Swaniawski Jr. says:

I'M cutting off blood to my brain? LOL! wow you're delusional. You make judgements on other people's comments on an article. How about you read the article dummy. You call PS4 users sheep yet you base your opinions on other people's opinions. Maybe think for yourself? Maybe?LOL! I read the article. How about this. Since you can't read, look at the pretty little chart that's all color coded so it's easy for people like you to understand.. or better yet, play on your child console lol It's for simple minded people like you.

  19. Payton Schmitt Jr. says:

MY REPLY 😉 Read it, don't get all teary eyed now. I know you have trouble reading.

  20. Ellen Schumm says:

I love my PS4. And although it doesn't have much in the realm of exclusives at the moment, 2015 will be when PS4 dominates the gaming platform. I devoured Killzone and Infamous as soon as it was out. Right now, I'm so busy playing the FREE games on Playstation Plus, I'm not really bothered. Did I mention how great Playstation Plus is? Sure you're paying for an online subscription like the XBox where in the past it used to be free but you get a whole lot with it. The PS4 was beautifully crafted and is so silent. Doesn't produce a whole lot of heat like the PS3 does. I do wish they'd let you change your PSN name… maybe in the the next patch? Please?

  21. Julie Abshire says:

Dude, someone needs to send you a check.
Hopefully people link out to your comment.
    Outstanding job.

  22. Jacquelyn Rosenbaum says:

Great and informative post! Kudos to viol8tor

  23. Dr. Ahmed Strosin says:

    You're both retarded.

  24. Prof. Jayne Johnson says:

not buying a PS4 the WiiU is better cause its got free online and the biggest library of games any console can offer, plus the best quality, no glitches their games and all the games with the best review scores are on the WiiU. all the games on the POS4 are full of glitches and full of over priced dlc and its full of remakes, the lowest quality in gaming until now and why is sony scaming its customers? shouldent all these remakes (not remasters) be on Play Station Now??????????????????????what a scam.

  25. Adrienne Gislason says:

Exactly how is this a downgrade again?
