The Red Dead Redemption 2 release date for the PS4 and Xbox One may not have been officially revealed yet, but a Danish retailer coolshop.dk suggests it might be out sooner than you think.
Originally reported on Reddit, coolshop.dk pegs Red Dead Redemption 2’s release date as June 8, 2018. Usually games developed by Rockstar are out on Tuesdays and June 8 falls on a Friday. Though with Friday releases becoming more common, this could be a possibility.
However what lends more credence to this date is that fact that the very same retailer leaked the dates for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA V before Rockstar officially announced them. Granted it was off by a few days at the time, but had the correct time frame according to popular gaming forum ResetEra.
Previously Rockstar Games released a new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2. Showing off a host of environments and characters, the trailer also highlighted the game’s protagonist, Arthur Morgan. He’s an outlaw in the Van der Linde gang.
The Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer also reaffirmed the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date of Spring 2018 for the PS4 and Xbox One. No mention of the PC or Nintendo Switch. Tragic considering that GTA V is rumoured for the Switch and has sold well enough on PC.
